some people say that blogging is just a different way of learning, what do you say? i say that you can learn from blogging, but comparing it to learning in school by a teacher, i think that learning from blogging is not the best way!

blogging is a good way to communicate/connect with people through the internet but there are lots of other ways to talk over the internet such as msn, emails, etc and they are alot easier than blogging!

Our class was reading “The Dons” but some of us are not enjoying it. Our teacher let about 6 of us chose a different book to read and it is soo much better because i am actually reading it.

i really like the book, it is interesting and different. its nice and thin and i am always wanting to read on to find out what happens so the book catches my attention which i like alot.

I really want to finish the book to find out whether Sally Marshall is an alien or not. hehe

i thought playin the games was good because otherwise we just hav 2 listen 2 the teacher and that can get boring. so maybe we shud play these games more often- wink wink nudge nudge.

english isn’t my best subject and im not very good at it but i prefere learning about grama than reading a stupid book that doesn’t mean much 2 me.

during english lately we picked a natural disaster story and then we wrote a story about it.

i wrote a story about Boxing day Tsunami and we handed them into our english teacher today.

i can’t wait till i get my mark back from it.

i personally like it when teachers dont give out lots of work in 1 lesson because if they just give out a little bit then the students can finish it properly and make sure the work is done well.

teachers should make sure everyone in the class gets a say and make sure everyone listens to others. 

class discussions are good as well because then your not just listening to the teacher the whole time cause that can get very boring and thats when people start to get figerty and the teacher gets annoyed.

this term we are reading a book called ALEX-she want to be a champion. its about a girl who is a swimmer and it is ritten by Tessa Duder. i’ve read up to the 4th chapter and so far it is ok. alot of people say that you have to read more to get into the book and it takes a few chapters until the book starts to get interesting. lately i haven’t had much time to read but when i do i will. we will soon be getting a project on this book that i am not looking forward to at all!

a couple of weeks ago our class had 8 alive for the whole week. it was fun wearing free dress and doing activities instead of doing work all week. it was a nice break.

the activities we did were ok. we went on an excursion to an enviroment place where we got to make our own paper and that was the best bit of it. i haven’t got mine back yet but i cant wait to see what it looks like.

the other good thing on 8 alive that we did was go rock climbing. my partner was sarah and to do rock climbing you have to trust your partner which i did. we first learnt how to harness our selves up which was pretty easy when you got used to it. after having a turn on the little wall we go to go on the big wall which was soo much fun! im glad that we got to go there.

well they were the 2 best thing about 8 alive, catch ya soon love sarah!

some of it lookes easy but there is just soo much to do.

i haven’t finished reading the book im really far behind and its really annoying! i dont want to go hire the movie because it might be a bit different and we might watch it at school. the book has like 429 pages and im only up to 115.

i don’t really have any thing else to say so i will write to you another time! love sarah! 

It’s about a boy called Willie (short for William) who goes and stayes with a old man called Mister Tom. His mother is very mean to him. He doesn’t no how to read or write and doesn’t have any friends. While he stays with Mr Tom he learns these things and even gets a few frends. All this is happening when the war is happening. Tom doesn’t believe in the war and never takes his gas mask anywhere!!

I haven’t read all the story because it is reallly long. i would of prefered to watched the movie because the book is sooo long! I won’t spoil the story for you but if you want to no what happens and dont like reading either then go buy the movie!
