Hey, 

Today my class 8.6 did a cake stall at lunch time to raise money. We were raising money for the people in the detention centres. 

We sold lollie bags, cakes, cookies, muffins, cup cakes, slices and more. 

I had never done it before and it was soo much fun!! 

We also had a donation tin that people could put there change in and after lunch we went and asked people for some donations and got about $10. 

Altogether from the cake stall we raised $189.10 how exciting is that!! 

After Easter we are going to decide on what we are going to do with the money. 

Hopefully we come up with some good ideas and the money doesn’t go to waste.
